Partial proceeds from the 6th  Annual Party with the Pros help VIPS in its mission of bring hope to dozens of babies with severe vision loss.  The Party   will no doubt set new attendance records, so get your tickets early.

Marty Moore (born March 19, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona) and raised in Fort Thomas, Kentucky is a former professional American football player who played linebacker for eight seasons for the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns. Moore also holds the distinction of being the first Mr. Irrelevant ever to play in a Super Bowl (Super Bowl XXXI). Moore played high school football for Highlands High in Ft. Thomas and college football at Kentucky, playing in the 1993 Peach Bowl and becoming the final pick in the1994 NFL Draft after his senior season.

Frank Minnifield (born January 1, 1960, Lexington, Kentucky) is a former American football player who played defensive back for the Cleveland Browns from 1984-92.

Minnifield attended Henry Clay High School in Lexington. Considered too small for college football at just 5’9″ and 140 pounds, he walked on to the football team at the University of Louisville, earning a scholarship spot for his final three years. As a junior in 1981, he led the nation in average yards per kickoff return (30.4) and led his team in punt returns.

After graduation in 1982, Minnifield joined the Chicago Blitz (later the Arizona Wranglers) of the USFL

Carter tells Santa what's on his holiday list

VIPS will host its Santa Party on Saturday the 18th for its families. The party supplements the in-home intervention and helps the VIPS kids socialize. It’s also a lot of fun. Visit our website at www.vips.org if you would like to support this event and the other programs we offer our families.

VIPS recently received a grant from the Lexington Clinic Foundation to purchase an electric paper cutter and laminator. This equipment allows the VIPS teachers to individualize each child’s learning experience.
